UMT Launches Health Administration Degree Programs

ARLINGTON, Virginia, September 18, 2009

UMT is pleased to announce that the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) recently approved UMT to enroll students in a comprehensive program in health administration, including both undergraduate and graduate degrees. These degree programs are designed to provide a modern distance education curriculum to support the needs of individuals who wish to advance their education in the healthcare field.

At the undergraduate level, the Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) provides foundation concepts and advanced topics in health administration and related disciplines. At graduate level, the Master of Health Administration (MHA) provides a strong foundation in theory and practice to allow MHA graduates to do an effective job performing their managerial and administrative duties in health services.
